CATANIA – “È con immensa gioia e gratitudine che i nostri ragazzi siano stati testimoni delle Fede a S. Agata, la patrona del capoluogo etneo” – dichiara la dirigente dell’I.C. Giuffrida–La Mela di Adrano, Prof.ssa Tiziana Baratta – “Non facciamo mai mancare la Fede alla Santuzza col nostro pellegrinaggio che avviene ormai già da anni”.
Martedì 3 Febbraio, pertanto, come da consuetudine, la delegazione del Consiglio comunale dei Ragazzi e delle Ragazze dell’I.C. “Giuffrida-La Mela”, guidata dal referente prof. Salvatore Palermo e dal Sindaco della scuola e Metropolitano Singh Ishleen, con i consiglieri guidati dal Presidente del Consiglio Di Primo Giusi, hanno ripetuto il rito della consegna dei fiori e della candela a S. Agata con tanto di gonfalone dell’istituto.
Grazie a questo impegno i ragazzi conservano il valore storico della festa, la tradizione, il folklore, nonché quello educativo come segnale forte e positivo da trasmettere ancora alle generazioni successive affinché si possa diventare consapevoli di un patrimonio culturale e religioso del territorio in cui si vive.
Ma numerose sono state le delegazioni delle CCdRR, accolte calorosamente dal Presidente Dr. Giuseppe Adernò che hanno sfilato per via Etnea mostrando la loro Fede e il loro attaccamento a S. Agata.
